I joined American Express as a College Grad. People here at Amex are wonderful, highly professional, never hesitate to lend a helping hand. Work culture here is very systematic and planned, alongside work-life balance is one thing which i highly admire. Talking about person learning and growth opportunities, Amex provide multiple learning platforms and your manager directly tracks your learning goals and progress. There will be proper training for the first month.

Dislikes

Other compensation benefits are quite good but promotional increments are quite low in magnitude for lower designation.

The overall experience is amazing throughout. The company culture is the usp of Amex. The work life balance allows employees to live life out of work.

...hing is great at American Express. Nothing to be disliked comes to mind as such. Though I feel pay could be given some more attention for employee satisfaction and make it more lucrative.

I think salary is not upto the industry mark for Engineers not in Band 35 , means until the experience of 5-6 yrs , you are always below par the industry standard . When I say industry , I mean the companies like Amex , or atleast the ones in financial sector.

No work life balance odd shifts no flexibility although the compensation provided is good

No work life balance odd shifts no trainings cafeteria are expensive and they only accept American Express credit card and no other mode of payment

Amex is the best company I have ever worked with, work culture, flexibility, compensation, management etc everything is superb

Amex few HR's never reply or help, when Amex ex -employee want to rejoin Amex they should help them by providing support & feedback needed. They should reply on time.
