There were many other companies but none of them were never heard of mostly startup’s which didn’t pay as much as working in amazon. Early days- The 1st day was mostly introduction, showing facilities, workplace( operations floor) and meeting your managers, trainers and operations manager.

Very good company .The brand name holds a lot of value for the employees that are cited by 18% of the employees. Out of 720 employee's reviews, 17% of the employees believe that the quality of work at Amazon is good to go. Some of the employees have given feedback saying that skill-oriented jobs are essential for the seekers.

Dislikes

Cost cutting, frugality, employees being pressurised to work beyond their abilities, employee being fired coz they fail to get a good survey just bcz of the goof up done by the courier services. What is the best aspect of working at Amazon? (It can be benefits, culture, etc.)

The salary structure is good.

You wont get any appreciation even if you work day and night. They expect 200% out of you and even if you give your 200%, you won't get any appreciation because that is what is expected. If you are performing good, that is average according to them and you will always be told to raise the bar. Job security is very less. But it always depends on the team.

The office is great and you have best in industry compensation.

Worst work life balance. The managers have to ask you to work at least 10 hrs a day and the work 12. Your performance is measured against the team so if everyone is working 12 hours and you can work 8 you will always be the bottom performer. Promotions are project based so if your.projects gets halted for any reason not you own so does your promotion.
