You are just a number to the company and will be dropped whenever your manager feels so. Your manager have 100% authority and you have no say in it. If you disagree on anything and are not a yesman, be ready to be dropped real soon.

Good salary and benefits. Everything is structured organised and they have a lot of things very well thought of and defined.

Dislikes

Work culture is pathetic, lot of role creeps and overloaded responsibilities, bad work life balance, least empathy for employees and work is not very technical. They don't want to experiment or invest into technologies that might improve something unless it's already proven by someone else. Best example LLM. Overall Amazon is not a tech company it's just another corporate who wants to make money through technology.

The promotion of negative behavior among colleagues is encouraged, given that performance evaluations hinge not on assessments from superiors, but rather on appraisals from fellow employees, who concurrently serve as competitors.
