Monotonous job till L3 positions (few L4 positions too) No skill development for L3's position Monotonous work ultimately someday will give you realization that you did not had a penny worth upskilling. Promotion to L4 from L3 role is just a fairy tale , only 1 % of the vertical are given opportunity L1 to L3 are not given visibility on the operations or even the final impact. You dont get to see why are you doing and how is it impacting on a real time basis, or atleast someone briefing the outcome. For freshers - can accept For mba freshers- you waste your money you spent on your MBA and forget about ROI For EXPERIENCED - JOIN L4 AND ABOVE POSITIONS. DONT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS WORKEX FOR A MONOTONOUS L3 ROLES WHICH WILL IMPACT YOUR FUTURE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES.

...re best with salaries. Promotions are based on JDIs for most of the departments. Extremely Low compensation.

Amazon is a very good company but Third party employees are not feel safe due to contracting and third party employees growth is very very low

Pay is good for freshers and a good place to start your career.

Dislikes

Lack of career growth, no skill development opportunities. Only way to get promotion is by doing a minimum of 4 projects/process improvements. No recognition for the smaller teams and its members.

Work-life balance is good in Amazon.....once your office time gets over no one asks you what you're doing....you can start your work at anytime in a day within your allocated shift times but you have to make sure reaching daily Target that has for the process your in.

Dislikes

Salary structure is not great in Amazon if your joining in your earliest stage of career but if you're the one who joined Amazon after having experience in outer company and coming to Amazon with the higher pay scale then you will get to paid pretty good amount.
