I worked as a virtual customer support associate that's a remote position So the salary and benefits I was getting was also sufficient and all is mine I mean there were no expenses I don't have to pay for transport, clothing I don't have to go to office I could work from the comfort of my house. They provide system to work, ups in case of powercut and internet allowances so you don't have to worry on that point as well.

Amazon usually hires as contract bases so there's no job security if there's a business requirement they'll extend your contact otherwise they'll just let you go. You have attend calls and customers will shout on you for no reason and you just have to calm them down. You have to work in odd working hours there will be rotational shifts like one day you're working from 10am to 7pm you can get a email till evening that from tomorrow onwards your shifts will be 6am to 3pm or 12am to 9am and this can happen unlimited times in a month so can't follow a fix schedule. They'll force you to do overtime in the festive season Yes they will pay you extra for this but most of the time you can't say no to overtime.

Amazon paid salary on time and no compromise over compliance. I like both things

Amazon is a very good company but Third party employees are not feel safe due to contracting and third party employees growth is very very low

Policy changes every week. Work life balance is zero. They want us to work on every single thing. No one there to listen to your issues. Everything is on autopilot mode. If someone is not getting any other job or is unemployed then Amazon is okay. Otherwise don't even think of joining.

Amazon is an employee friendly company with good salary for freshers. They have good leave policies as well.

Dislikes

For virtual employees working from the said location and not anywhere in India sounds weird. Also, discontinuing virtual opportunities.
