The main attraction of working at Amazon is often the salary. If you're willing to compromise your self-respect for financial gain, it can be a place to earn money, but some might feel it comes at the cost of their dignity or autonomy. Please note that individual experiences may vary.

It depends on the manager to whom you report. Amazon is often seen as one of the best companies to work for in the eyes of the outside world, but for employees, their experience can vary greatly based on their individual managers. It's important to note that one's perception of the company can be heavily influenced by their direct supervisor. It is always the Management that wins even after raising the issue to HR team.

Only good thing about Amazon is the compensation they offer.

Dislikes

1. There is no work life balance. You have to work in rotational shifts and week-offs. 2. Favoritism prevails at Amazon, especially in terms of growth. 3. They terminate atleast 7% employees annually which is mandatory as part of the annual performance evaluation cycle. It is completely data based and not situation based. Leadership doesn't remove the hurdles in meeting the goals and later, put all the blame on you. Hence, no job security. 4. Most of the time, you will be working on repeated tasks. Hence, no skill development and work satisfaction.
