Working environment is good, very professional staff

Dislikes

Their is no job security at all, you are safe until you do not reach at their maximum salary slab for your position, or get the promotion. After working for 4 years the fired me with my multiple colleague, they all were very tenured and they fired by saying performance issue.

This profile is non tech and work is quite monotonous. And you have to reach a particular target (performance metric) to stay in a team, otherwise you'll go in "performance improvement plan"

Salary is quite low. Otherwise I don't there is any issue.

Really happy with the job, people, working culture, company policies, compensation. The only sad thing is job security. There is no guarantee to get hired as permanent employee and it is not necessary that contract will extend or any conversion will happen. So quite upset with job security.

There is nothing which I don't like about amazon. But There is no job security for the employee who hired as contractual.

Only good thing about Amazon is the compensation they offer.

1. There is no work life balance. You have to work in rotational shifts and week-offs. 2. Favoritism prevails at Amazon, especially in terms of growth. 3. They terminate atleast 7% employees annually which is mandatory as part of the annual performance evaluation cycle. It is completely data based and not situation based. Leadership doesn't remove the hurdles in meeting the goals and later, put all the blame on you. Hence, no job security. 4. Most of the time, you will be working on repeated tasks. Hence, no skill development and work satisfaction.

No promotion as per your tenurity, Performance standards are so difficult to achieving, Amazon day by day trying to layoffs the employees, Work load increasing for all the employees managers, even though operation manager..
