The company offers a good learning and growth environment. The kind of projects that people work on are very impactful and decide the future course of action for clients. The exposure one gets is really good. Overall from a growth and learning perspective, a good place to be in. As a part of the consulting job, one gets to travel a lot. The good part about A&M is that you get to stay at the best of the places - mostly 5-star hotels and live a good life while you are traveling on projects away from your family.

Dislikes

... than not, MDs are interested in maintaining their P&L above everything else. Even though overall salaries are decent (a bit below other strategy consulting firms), the salary structure is not very employee-friendly. The variable component is way too high (30-50% of your annual fixed salary) which doesn't go well.

Culture at the firm, leadership backing you to take on new challenges, always on a lookout for something different, constant push towards skill development and learning, good bonus and remuneration with respect to other consulting firms.

Work-life balance is not upto the expectations, constantly challenging tasks are exhausting, stay on your feet 24*7.

Work hours could be long and tiring. You will be required to work on multiple things simultaneously. Poor work life balance. Good for individuals who are unmarried and like traveling to country side.
