The projects, I've worked on, are beneficial for one's technical growth. There will be pressure throughout delivery phase, so one can learn to deliver quality work within stipulated time frame. The team has a very few folks at senior level, who have been quite helpful and guided me well.

Dislikes

1. Compensation is poor for people with 1-3 year experience. 2. No induction/orientation program, so one will get a little chance of knowing company's business. 3. Zero 'fun at work'. 4. There are folks in the team, who seems to be ruling the data science team. Zero professionalism, treatment to the subordinates, one could feel like being humiliated. I've felt like 'working under someone' rather 'working with someone'. Zero professionalism 5. No corporate training program.

Employee benefits, specially health benefits are good. Good learning opportunities.

Dislikes

Hard work doesn't pay off. Poor salary structure. If you have low salary based on your yoe, you will remain in low salary. Doesn't matched the pay scale based on your year of experience.

Good work-life Balance, compensation and benefits and also good company culture

Doesn't value individuals' unique strength that much, no job-security, slow career growth. Do not have any future-sight as such, no proper planning

CTC is higher than most other companies. Work-life balance is good. A great environment, healthy ambience, good people. Seniors are really good.

Dislikes

Opportunities are low. Not that challenging projects. Growth is limited. After a time you will be frustrated 😔

If you are freshly out of your college and need to gather a whole lot of experience very quickly, without meddling into process-oriented development work, then Alumnus can help you get that. The company has a very cool vibe to it and people are helpful. However, the upper-level management decisions can be poorly executed making employees unsatisfied with their time spent in the company.

Dislikes

Alumnus management is inefficient and incapable of adequate decision-making. From being the company that offered one of the highest packages in Kolkata, they have become low-grade payers in the Kolkata IT scene. People here are also reluctant to upgrade their skill set for reasons unknown.
