Saturday and sunday holiday depends upon the client you working.... Salary end of the month you receive. Work environment good both corporate office and client location.

Chennai location top level management no technical knowledge and inexperienced... Overall top level management people simply Time pass without doing anything. No job security for engineers and TL's.. When one project was over no visibility to engineers to change over. Many engineers lost job no safe lace to work. Remove great place to work certification if possible. Many engineers not directed well after move back to ALTEN from client location. Top level people get all benefit but bottom level suffering. ALTEN chennai get business because of ALTEN group not for any individual, some miss utilize and get every year promotion. Request you to change top order management. No skill development for our engineers. Every client meeting, simply tell some story and escape no proper action in place. In capable people holding top positions here and get increment and promotion every year. Set right management person for chennai unit and current one is zero knowledge and improper management, many engineers lost job last year without any reasons.

Salary on time (Without the project, they provide only 3 months salary)

The client selected me, and then only Alten hired me. I am waiting for the client call, but due to some reasons, such as project visibility and a lack of projects, I am not assigned to a client project. If you are selected for client purposes, they simply focus on the same team only. In case your role has any issues, like a lack of projects or any other issues, they won't consider your situation or anything. They won't try to check or search for jobs based on your skills in other teams or other clients. After three months, they won't provide any salary. They simply inform you that without a salary, you are our lifetime Alten employee. First, they stopped my salary after three months, and I left the company. They do not have enough project. Project culture is very bad. Once a project is over, the manager cannot even find a project based on skills and would eventually ask you to leave. There is no job security at all. They hire for contractual jobs but say there is a permanent opportunity while hiring. After onboarding, if you are not in a project, they start to consider you on the bench. Recently, many employees were fired in the Chennai branch. 1. Great time wasters 2. No Job security 3. No project | No Salary 4. No Response (They don't need Teams or Outlook because no one is supporting or responding to an employee.)

Work culture is good People are good! Management has some issues. IT guyz are welll behaved and supportive.

Appraisal, Salary Hike Issue 2025 they introduced new policy of leaves - 25 leaves for year (EL+ CL) Previously it was 30 days

They donot have enough projects. Project culture is very bad. Once a project gets over. The manager cannot even find a project based on skills. And would eventually ask you to leave. 1. Very Nice, cooperative and Polite people. 2. Salary On time or before if holiday. Good Medical policies to employee. 3.Regular corporate training sessions on cyber security, advance excel woman empowerment, lots of employment to new people and many more.

Most of people outsourced at client location.
