Growth is slow. Compensation is very less. Gender discrimination in payroles. Recent Siemens acquisition news has caused a lot of rumours, management is not answering them.

Senior Management taking credit for work done by the team. Since, Altair works with proprietary tools so little scope for people who like to code. Lean time size & to save money Altair hires interns to do their works instead of hiring full time employees. Sometimes, such team setup affects the performance of full time employees.

If you are from mechanical background and looking for opportunities, this is the best company.

Dislikes

If you are from CS/IS/EC branch and looking forward to join this company then I would recommend not to because these guys hire you just for testing purpose. Overall company policy, work life balance everything is good but only when you are a full time employee and please don't join for internship. Prefer full time employment if you are looking forward to join this company

a lot of expectation from beginners and sometimes work pressure and working time is extended due to project submission.
