Too much indulgence in employee’s personal lives. They will tell you that they understand if you’re facing any personal issue and trick you to blabber about it, as soon as you give them what they want, they will use it in lowering your ratings and give you bad performance review. They also have employees around esp the one in IT to monitor you, for ex they would note the number of your restroom visits and the number of times you stepped out of office. If you’re on notice period, they would make your life hell and would ignore any suggestions given by you in meetings etc. PS: They think they own their employees!

I recently completed my first internship at Alea Consulting, a trusted Risk Mitigation and Investigative Consulting firm. This experience was part of my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program after finishing my first year. As a marketing intern, my role involved supporting the team with lead generation. I found the overall experience to be positive. The people in my team were cooperative and willing to help, which made the learning process smoother. My supervisor was particularly supportive, offering guidance and feedback that helped me understand the complexities of marketing in the consulting industry. During the internship, I gained valuable insights into how a consulting firm operates and analysis in mitigating risks for clients. Overall, my time at Alea Consulting was a great learning experience, and it has significantly contributed to my understanding of marketing and consulting. I am grateful for the support and guidance I received from my team and look forward to applying the knowledge and skills I gained in future endeavors.
