I came here to share an incident of mental harassment that happened to me. In 2022, my family and I were thrilled to buy a new house. However, our joy was short-lived as my mom's health suddenly deteriorated, and her left side stopped functioning properly. To support my family, I joined Aldebaran Media on February 25, 2023, at the age of 22. From the very first month, I noticed that a colleague named Simran, who was known as the BD and CS of the company, was mentally harassing me with her absurd actions. In the first month, Simran demanded that I greet her with "Good morning" because she was my senior. She forced me to obey all her commands, threatened to slap me in front of everyone, and repeatedly called me after work hours to belittle me. At that time, I was deeply concerned about my mother's health, so I didn’t tell anyone. One day, Simran came to my desk and loudly shouted at me, accusing me of not doing my work, without any reason, in front of everyone. Meanwhile, my mom's health was worsening. I didn’t know who to share my troubles with or who could help me. It was a very panic-inducing situation, and I had to choose between focusing on my mom’s health or taking action against Simran. Simran continued to harass me, saying things like, "You can't do this job." One day, she even told me to put a chair on her foot. After enduring these ridiculous actions, I finally told my manager. He acknowledged that Simran's behavior might not be good but praised her straightforwardness. Despite this, no action was taken One of my colleagues advised me not to mess with Simran because she was the head of the company and the first employee, so everyone would side with her instead of me. Every day, Simran made negative comments about me, like asking why I was wearing the same clothes as the previous day or why I was eating a particular lunch. She even verbally abused me at times. Eventually, I realized my colleague’s advice was true. Simran was favored by everyone, and no one dared to raise their voice against her. I was shocked that my colleagues, who witnessed her actions, did nothing. I reported everything to the higher authorities, but no action was taken. In the same year, a new hire named Mr. Rahul Anand joined. He often supported Simran when she made false comments about me. One day, I told everyone that I wouldn’t join the Fun Friday event, and Mr. Rahul called me to the main cabin and asked, “What is wrong with you? You cannot go.” Another incident involved a planned trip. I said I couldn’t go because of my mom’s health, but Mr. Rahul insisted that I must go because my manager was attending. It became clear that they were mentally harassing me. I never did anything wrong to anyone in the company, yet they exploited and harassed me for no reason. Ultimately, on October 9, I resigned. I firmly believe that while they have wronged me, I have wronged no one. I leave everything to God, believing that His justice comes silently yet powerfully. On the day I left, I was teased in front of my parents, and I kept questioning what wrong I had done to deserve this. I think Simran found peace when I left the job. Despite repeatedly informing Simran and others about my mom's health but no one showed any mercy.
