Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Work atmosphere is pleasent, and work time is favourable. Seniors are supportive and pay attention to our health. Learning and growth opportunities are available and provided from time to time.

Dislikes

Canteen food is not as per the mark. Vendor need to be changed.

Work life balance is good. Job security is excellent and salary packages are also satisfactory. Company is technology savy and processes are smoother. A good place to learn and grow.

Dislikes

Fix Parking facility is not available for every employee.

Work life balance is good at Akums. Job security is good and salary packages are also satisfactory. The organization supports employee benefits and HR teams are also supportive. Employee benefits are taken good care of.

Dislikes

Canteen food is available on a low cost for everyone but taste is missing from regular canteen food. Instead of regular canteen, tuck shops available are providing good taste but cost is little higher.
