Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Even though the work load is high, things are well organised. Salary is good, paid on time.growth is bit slow. But if you look around, overall experience of working in this college is really good. N the culture of mechanical department is one of the best.

Dislikes

Things get monotonous after some time.Too much of paper work.

I like nothing about working in AKGEC except the salary which comes every month.

Dislikes

No management of work. lot of paper work for every single thing is to be maintained. being such a technical college nothing is automated. feel like hell working here .. if u are satisfied working somewhere and getting only 10000 les stay at that place and dnt come to akgec.
