Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Everything, from the whimsical recruitment to the even more frivolously taken decisions to fire. The HR tells a candidate they are fired due to poor performance, while the manager of the candidate is not even aware that his immediate team member is being fired. How can the HR report a performance issue, over the manager? The senior leadership has no idea how to run departments, let alone nurture a workforce.
