Only one thing - On time salary

Dislikes

Trading buisness, too much religious partiality, no team building activities, interviewer keeps 3-4 offers ready under the table before candidates comes for the interview- choose last offer (advice), only 21 paid leaves. No CL, no Medical Leave, nothing. No or very less 5 to 15% appraisal for hard work but only in diwali, no arrears.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
