Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Company is good for freshers and those who want to learn new skills, especially in banking domain. Senior staff is really helpful and provide training on regular basis.

Dislikes

Company culture differ for different different locations like Delhi and Mumbai. You will miss parties in Mumbai but will enjoy client side working here.
