...ill be a slave to dumb seniors. - Forget promotion until you complete 3 years. - 10% variable pay included which you definitely won't get no matter how smart/hard you work. Max. 75% you can get if and only if you have no grudges against your manager. - 2 or 3 years bond is mandatory, failing to complete leads to pay huge amount as fine. They follow very strict company policy so forget negotiation with them. - Helpless and coward manager.

1)All the managers are mostly Udupi localities who are nothing but typically super talent less group of people whom the owners keep under them just so that they are comfortable being surrounded by dumb associates 2)The managers(baring 1 or 2) knows just one way to survive there which is to butter the owners as much as possible and just be their yes men(and women) 3)Work wise it's too much repetitive and boring,no development of skills can occur while you are micromanaged at every small inch 4)They play feedback feedback to rate u lower in few areas so that they can have a tangible excuse of non promotion,no increment and firing 5)Lately they kept a product manager to carry out all the dirty work for the management and create a super toxic work place 6)Lays off at the very first sign of a small drop.Employees are just treated as resource with zero empathy

Very good colleagues, Udupi location is very nice with nice places to see. Office is located in good location. Cost of living is low, compared to big cities

Dislikes

Work can become repetitive, not much learning from manager, only one game at the moment, no WFH option

An indie gaming studio in Udupi that is a leader in the freemium game space in the country. Run by an entrepreneur who had one of the most successful exits in their first startup here and now are rebuilding from the ground up. A small team means there is very little bureaucracy with manager, leaders being very accessible. Yearly campus recruiting drives means the team has a healthy mix of young and experience.

Dislikes

Older policies, internal processes that are being worked on to be upgraded, New joiners come with a service agreement, Udupi is still seen as a temple town and not as a the hifi tech capital Bengaluru. Being dependent on global markets means 2023 may be a slow year for the company. Leaders are determined and are bringing in the best of talent from across the country to build a globally successful company.

Likes

Nothing. They keep on speaking in Kannada as in all the people outside Karnataka is going to understand. They have created a stupid game of Kitchen Chef and they keep on adding new theme and decor. There is no other product and it seems so stupid for someone to waste a talent on that Stupid Game.

- Company is Micro Managed. - Company is run by two person only - Manager is true pain. They are not even clear what they are looking for. - Join the company only if you are not finding a job anywhere. - Employees working in the company since 14-15 years so any new thought or nothing will be implemented at all. - Each company employee is threaten to spoke to Product Manager. - Please Do not join this company unless you have no option but to join this company.
