In my case, I was hired as a contract employee but after some time they increased my duration. In the end, led me to a full-time employee. but with low salary increment as I was on probation(even after working as a contract employee like seriously?) when I asked my mentor he said I will get full-time after 1 year. Which broke my heart. I belong to North India, and in every meeting either manager level or developer level, they talk in Tamil. Even if I say to talk in English after 1-2 minutes they again shift to their native language. The number of years you stay at Zoho matters most, be it skilled or experienced or freshers. Promotions are based on loyalty and not on performance . All employees are treated the same - non performers and very good performers alike. Managers enforce working on weekends and frighten you to come to office. HR does not take a call. The individual managers do.

The compan's vision is very good and the top level management is so good and they plan everything very well to make sure it is better for the customers.

Zoho as an org it was the best so far for me, but unfortunately the team that I was working was one of the worst that I have even been as well. Lots of things like toxic team members, internal politics, lack of learnings that will help you land in your next job, lack of work life balance, manager being biased with genders.

It's like an ATM where you are constantly monitored and the monitoring is not done by your superiors it's actually done by the person who sits next to you though he or she is in the same destination as you they all act like masters and bowdown when the actual master arrives
