Work from home for certain projects. Rest hybrid.

Dislikes

Pretty much everything is atrocious. Only join if you are friends with senior management. Terrible salary with no benefits. Diwali bonus is Rs. 1000 Amazon gift card. We pay our maid more than that. When they need extra work done they say we are a family and after they get work done, there's no overtime nor do they adjust targets. Toxic work culture which will make you want to resign everyday or jump from the roof....Read More

Work Details

Work policy: Depends on project and designation. Analysts and senior analysts are not expected to come to office unless there's a meeting with client.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
