Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? No one cares about leading in the right direction, so you are automatically given space to do your own thing.

Dislikes

Unexpected cuts in incnetives without any arrears inspite of involving HR. Salary was hiked by 4% post appraisal. No leadership guidance or growth plan to pursue a career within the organisation. Going the extra mile is often overlooked. Toxic Work-Culture.
