At Yamaha, Job Security is a thing about which one should not be concerned. Also, HR policies are quite good and they constantly work towards upgradation of policies to align with employee's interests. Feedback and suggestions from employees are taken positivley and implemented timely. They try to generate maximum onsite opportunities for employees which provide them great exposure and learning.

Dislikes

Work culture is not good in some teams. Employees are over worked and expectations are unrealistically high due to which they have to work on weekends also. If concerns are raised, managers took them negativley which further more increases pressure on employees.

Work environment is really bad and HR involves themselves much more than is required. Even the manager does not take sides when HR gets involved much more than required. HRs don't know about tech and still they interfere in the matters. Sometimes for the freshers they will make mentors who does not have any knowledge. Very rigid environment. Great for freshers if you get the right team (technology), as random allocation takes place and you don't get to choose according to your interest. Rest all is good.

For freshers their technological interests are not considered and random distribution takes place. It's like deciding someone's career based on random distribution!
