Work at Corporate Office is good as it involves lot of inter department coordination. Good exposure of how different departments work.

100 percent Superior oriented and there isn't any webinars or connectivity from Japan HO.
HR should be more strong and there should be transparency in performance rating.It is disappointing that employees cannot even know the grade. Job security is pathetic,you never know how you are awarded least rating. There are certain lobbies governing and you got be careful if your views are different from them or in case you happen to be a performer.
Worst part is that performance pay is included in CTC.
You can survive till retirement if you happen to be with governing lobby and if you are happy being in the same post.Plant location is unsafe for female employees if planning to opt training department as the infrastructure is deserted. No idea if it has been changed now.
Everything depends on Boss. If you have a superb leadership Yamaha would be great.In that case HR can also support and it would be great to go ahead.However,Superior keeps on changing.
And anytime...you can expect Job rotations too even to designations which do not match your qualifications.
State wise discrimination was also experienced at certain instances.
Overall..working culture has to be developed a lot to help people think outside the box and develop their skills as the brand is so exciting and promising.
Attrition is too high as people expect the brand message to sway across but later experience the bitter part.
However..if your native or hometown is near to Yamaha plant or office and if you rarely have difference in opinion,you can lead your journey for many years....Read More
