Dear Concerned, Please be informed that maternity benefits are extended to all women, as per the statutory policy and guidelines in place. Be rest assured that we are fully compliant with all statutory policies for all our staff. We are confident that you too would have been given this benefit, unless you were not eligible as per the provisions of the Maternity Act itself, specifically with regard to the duration of your employment prior to your pregnancy. We want you to know that we are an equal opportunity employer & a working - mother friendly organization. We encourage women to join us back after a maternity break to pursue their career. We also accommodate requests from our female colleagues, going on or who are on maternity leave and would like to extend their leaves beyond the statutory period of 6 months. We are considerate in obliging to their requests for extended breaks, understanding fully well the mother’s need to be with the child, while assuring them of their job security. They are taken back either in the same role or in another role depending on the positions/roles available once they resume work. Re-training is given as needed. We have so many of our female colleagues who have availed these benefits while being employed with us. We are fully compliant with the statutory requirements and go beyond too. With flexi timing policy in place, we make it easier for them to get back to workforce while balancing their personal obligations. Almost 45% of our employees (including leaders/managers) are females and most of them are working mothers. We would like to get more details from you so that we can assist you.
