Used to be a really good company until it was bought.
I've been a long time employee with Xoriant and now it feels like I don't even know it anymore. It should be concerning when all the people including senior management who made Xoriant what it was have now left all in the span of a year. Employees were actually cared for earlier and HR were actually approachable as humans instead ofemployees. Now all that Xoriant cares about is revenue. You will be treated fairly while you are working on projects. Should the project end, they will jump at the chance to relieve you. Recently they updated their separation period to 3 months from the earlier 2 months. This makes it impossible to land another job while looking for one when on bench. Dear HR, I implore you to reach out to your human side and understand that employees are not a commodity to be shown the rule book. Treat them with empathy as they too have families and ambitions. Just because you hold leverage doesn't give you the right to exploit those who want to leave or are made to resign. Please remember that times change and you'd not like to be treated the way you treat employees. I wish I could've said better things about Xoriant but recent experiences have made me question my decision to join them. To those who are considering joining Xoriant, please think twice. The welcoming and positive approach of the HR and Internal Hiring Team. They are very supportive and guide members on bench constantly. There are upskilling training programs of people held on a continuous basis which actually help people in getting better oppurtunities.
Certain Project Managers and Leads look down upon resources (NOT ALL OF THEM). The mindset of growing together as a team needs to be induced across all accounts and members should be treated equally.

The Work Culture is good. The internal process to resolve issues is really thought after and quick. We are not asked to work from office all the days and can make adjustments with our Manager's approval to work from home in times when we need to be at home as well.

At Xoriant, the primary concern is lack of substantial salary hikes and incentives. While the company offers a stable work environment, the annual hikes are often below market standard. Since I joined last two years I haven't seen any yearly celebration by company which should be organize most of the mid size company.

The New Management: Ever since the company got acquired, it feels like a dystopian novel. Everyone in senior management has been swapped out, and their new policies make employees feel less valued professionals and more like extras in a modern-day reenacment of colonial rule. Job Security? Respect? Peaceful weekends? Forget it. The moment your project ends, you're suddenly "on borrowed time", given a month to pack up, with only basic pay to cling to. Three-Month Notice Period (But not for Them): When you want to leave, you are shackled with a three-month notice period. But if company decides it's time for you to go? Boom-one month, and you are out. The irony is painful. Add to this the cost of living in cities like Mumbai, where your "generous" basic pay does not even cover a month's rent. It's like being handed an umbrella during a hurricane: mostly useless. Job Security is Now a Punchline: Years of dedication, countless hours of hard work, and you are still just "a resource." If you dare to ask HR for support, good luck getting a reply. The only time you hear from them is when they want you to resign, and even then, they will throw in threats about your full-and-final settlement and experience certificate for good measure. HR: The Phantom Department: Want to explore new projects or technologies? Dream on. Your career path is entirely dictated by client whims, while HR conveniently vanishes. The moment you hear from HR or RMG, you know it's the "last call." People literally dread picking up their phones-it's like a horror movie plot, expect here, the monster is the call telling you to resign. General Observations I have spent over a decade at this company, and it is heartbreaking to see how things have deteriorated since the acquisition. Good, loyal employees are being pushed out like old furniture while management looks on, laughing from their cabins. If you are still here, my advice? Do not wait to be the next casualty. Jump ship, the moment you get an opportunity. Advice to Job Seekers Thinking about joining? Don't let the shiny marketing campaigns on Linkedin fool you. Mental peace is priceless, and this company's toxic culture will rob you of it. Even if other organization offer less compensation, you will be better off in the long run. Fortunate to have worked on some challenging roles as well as performing with high performance cross teams enabling deliver multiple projects and outcome aligned to company results and goals.
At times, unclear directions and indecisive measures results in significant analysis with limited or no outcome hence burn out and frustration among teams. Health insurance policy is not good, only 5 lakh for family of 4 isn't sufficient. They should work on that. Leave policy is horrible, there is no concept of Sick leave and earned leaves getting lapsed in a calendar year is not a good move. I am working here from past 5+yrs and Earlier company's environment was so good appraisal promotion working projects and work life balance. But after take over hire-fire policies are in progress, no bench strength and policies. NP increased to 3 months leaves and monthly allowance to projects reduced. I don't see projects in the company.
After take over and new managing body, all policies reframed looked against employees. NP increased, no bench policy, monthly project allowance reduced, no projects.
