Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer (Java)

Duration: Full time role

Location: Hybrid (Pune)

Job Description:

Our client is an enterprise virtualization and storage company & developing various solutions using Python, Java & similar technologies. As a key member of cutting edge product development team responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

You should have experience in the key matrix and performance areas given below:

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of E2E application development experience using Java (Java 8 Lambdas, Streams, Collections), Spring (especially Spring MVC & Security)
• Experience with Design Patterns and development of RESTful web services
• Working knowledge of Unix environment, version control systems such as GIT, Maven, Static Code Analysis tools, Test Driven Development, Jenkins and Unit testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito
• Good to have exposure to Open API Specification (Swagger)
• Good Analytical, Problem Solving & Debugging skills
• Thorough understanding of web technologies (HTTP/S, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML, JSON)
• Background of Enterprise company Product Development experience (i.e. networking storage, kernel, operating system as well OS level)
• Knowledge of Python / Flask, Google Protobuf, RPC (like GRPC), NOSQL would be plus

• Independently determines methods and procedures on new or special assignments

Qualification:

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, or other relevant degree
• 5+ yrs. of relevant work experience
