The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within them.

Don't try to join in this company. Particularly TAMILNADU KERALA Under the IDIOT Named Jayaprakash (JP in short) He has zero COMMON SENSE and behave as if he knows everything. You have to just SHAKE your head for everything & anything he says and another idiotic stupit named as Abdul. He does the same thing and both have zero Business Knowledge and common sense. Become a Horrible place to work.. Most of the change of senior management is from Samsung which has resulted in polluting of the culture and work ethics of the once progressively positioned work culture of Xiaomi. Death knell have been sounded.

Dislikes

HR not having a stand or intervening to correct things. Too much intrusion from Chinese HQ trying to micro manage things which little understanding of market realities. Culture of sycophancy and groups owing alliances to leaders.

No work life balance, work even on weekends, so much pressure , stress, low salary , very bad procedures on getting an approval for a creative it takes decades to get an approval so you get stuck on one work for a longtime and everything comes at the last moment which doubles your pressure stress and everything. Only for Brand name you can go for Xiaomi , nothing else benefit you
