Nothing actually... During COVID-19, when everyone were facing a financial crunch and going through uncertain times, VMock made sure to make these times an opportunity for itself and fired some of their employees who were pending their appraisal... And reduced the salary of the rest of their employees, even though there was no funding or financial issues going on internally in the company.

Dislikes

Vmock is a place where you would not want to step in because stepping on the morale of an employee and squeezing out their potential in a non-constructive way is their way of running the company. Being an employee, I have seen many of my colleagues undergoing unwanted pressure and breaking down in the process.

If you choose to work here, then we can bid adieu to our personal life. The work hours are uncertain. Can stretch beyond 1 in the night. You are even liable to be active on the calls at 3-4 in the mornings.

Pretty much nothing except that they pay well. But even that is not worth the time and effort you will be forced to put in.

Everything. I emphasize, every single thing. For starters, the top management takes employees for granted. You are forced to work 11-12 hour days, also on weekends, and come to office on their every whim. There is absolutely no work-life balance, you will have to reply to their emails at whatever time it may be, you will be blamed for things you are not responsible for and you will get absolutely no respect for any kind of hardwork you are putting in. Their is no human resources team, or at least no functioning human resources team, to address your grievances. But what is probably the worst is that there is absolutely no opportunity to grow and learn. You will end up doing almost a clerk level data-entry job for months before you are offered a slightly better but still a data entry-job. Save yourself, and don't join the company. Work is not challenging at all. For an analyst, there was basically nothing to do other than simple data-entry and testing. And it gets extremely monotonous, very fast. There is basically no growth.

Get to work with really talented people. Lot of responsibility to handle if you are supposedly doing well.

Terrible work culture. No freedom of thought. Co-founder who also happens to be the Head of Products treats people with "my way or highway" attitude. Most of your work revolves around catering to her arbitrary wishes rather than adding value to the products. CEO turns a blind eye towards most of the inconsistencies and terrible workgoing around in product development.
