I was into GCP cloud platform. My primary job is to build Data Pipelines using GCP native services like Composer, dataflow,Bigquery etc.

This is highly subjective and depends on the project you are assigned to. It follows similar to the work culture and practices of most of the mass recruitment service-based companies in India. I have experienced nothing remarkable. It was mostly average with little to no highs.

Dislikes

Lack of appreciation even though you appear to be a key resource in your team. This is highly subjective and depends on the project and the manager you have. I experienced no nomination for rewards/awards/recognition and later found that the managers don't nominate their reportees due to their personal favourable reasons, whatsoever.

Friendly environment, not hierarchy driven, good opportunities given to freshers, 3 months of training provided (for freshers), good learning experience, good salary hike, cabs provided beyond 8.00/10.00 pm if requested.

Dislikes

Improper procedure, 2-year bond for freshers, low pay, laptops (and hence work from home) provided only for higher tier employees (this was before pandemic - situation might change post pandemic)
