The brands and the nation wide recognition and it's presence is the best part of working with VIP.
Dislikes
People in VIP are big time unprofessionals. E-mail has less value and a phone call is needed to get your work done .
HR's are the worst in this organisation. They are gossip mongers and have no interest in solving issues or concerns raised by an employee. They will give 1000 reasons of why you should not get what you are asking for than supporting. The entire team is worst and is best to manage payroll. Shouldn't be called HR.
Operational issues are huge. There is always a gap between demand and supply. Stock is always a fight.
Commercial is dominant on sales team. A big negative.
National head and a few people on top do not have good decision making abilities. Hence the entire hierarchy has to suffer and brings in frustration. The head doesn't have the guts to fight for the team. Nor does he support in bringing business. Due to this motivation of the entire team goes for a toss.
There is no work life balance. People are asked to send reports on Sundays and off days also. You will keep getting calls day in and day out. A driver and a cleaner will also call you to get the stocks delivered. This unprofessionals can be seen throughout the company hierarchy.
Job security is a question when it comes to difficult times. Half the field force was fired during covid times. Front line workers were at a 50% salary cut where as management staff was at a 25% salary cut. Performance pay of 19-20 was not given by company. All other variable part was cancelled.
It's a typical lala company where big position holders are there to guard their positions till retirement. HR keeps a swinging sword on your head rather than helping. A person coming from outside the company will not be able to survive for long....Read More

The culture has improved in last 5 years. But too much lagging behind the way MNC's treat their employees.
