36 years I have served this bank. Joined as a clerk and retired as a credit officer. Beautiful work culture, transparent promotion policy, sympathetic colleagues and proper training process.

Working with knowledgeable superiors with great experience and support is what makes one very proud to be a Vijayite. Now it is Bank of Baroda and one would equally be proud to be a Barodian. I served the Bank for 30 years and nine months and still would like to serve if there is any oppurtunity on contract basis.

Dislikes

it is equal to a temple of worship. Only hindrance is recent generation lot, 70% of them do not actually work. They are only interested in promotions, lacking working knowlege.

I joined Bank in 1991 as Clerk & Officer from 2002 & Manager from 2012 onwards. Worked in various branches & fields as frontline & back office also. Headed a branch in Bangalore. My last profile was in Controlling office. Wonderful Journey of 28 yrs.
