Vidya Bhawan Society started with a school in 1931, Udaipur, south Rajasthan. Presently it has 12 institutions: 3 schools, 3 teacher training college; post-graduate college and a Krishi Vigyan Kendra. The mandate of the institution is to provide education through good learning experience to the students from across the sections of the society. The institution maintains narrow and low fees bandwidth for its schools and colleges, though, the institute owes over 600 acres land in the prime location of Udaipur city, making it resources. The idea of preparing children as future citizens with the ability to make informed decisions, not only preparing children for only blue and white collar jobs, as the mandate of the organisation, made me work for the organisation for more than 20 years.
