Met with people with whom I work, atleast they had similar opinions as me about verzeo

Let's start with my honest experience here, which I have a lot to speak about Its already been 3 months since I left Verzeo but I can't still move past the trauma it left me with. Atleast it was a bit manageable when I was working with the Talent acquisition team. Although in that team as well, the officials used to make quite personal comments regarding my personal life. I used to be dumbstruck and Lip tied not knowing how to take this professionally and deal with it maturely by setting healthy corporate boundaries. The situations kept crossing my personal boundaries. Chuck that. To learn more about HR domain I was willing to join the Operations team. Alright here, where the actual disaster happens I didn't know in the Operations team I would have to somehow impress the head in order to win her trust. what's this ? some fictional tv show ? Even after completing all types of menial work in that team, somehow it wouldn't count that I am done. I have to keep notifying the head that my work is over. All that is even fine. What kind of operations team in an organisation asks you to move cartons?? Wait First of, I'm working as an intern here doesnt mean I'll do any kind of job I'll be ordered to do. ?? Let's say all of that is also fine, let me even lower my guard, but the tone in which I was being ordered- just doesn't cut it. The tone, the body language, the urge to control and over power is something that can just traumatize and destroy someone's mental space. Even till the last day, I didn't utter a single word but till now I do get chills for what I was going through. No doubt I've been over it but the experience can't be undone, it's been printed. The constant criticism and humiliation used to give me anxiety through out the day during office hours but i used to keep mum. Why would anyone chose to treat someone that way ? I mean can't we just be kind to each other even if we are in upper postions ? what loss is it going to cause ! ? This toxic cycle of power struggle and finding ways to prove it by being impolite and rude is what people thrive upon. Not something that I can ever. ever forget about.
