First of all I feel really fortunate to be a part of such an employee centric organization. The way Verizon touched our life as an organization is something amazing, during the Pandemic times be it with their medical kit reimbursement of 50$ or the Meals program not only for the affected employees but also for their immediate family members is something laudable. The work culture, team environment and management is really great. The appraisals are really good in par with industry standards. They are supporting good by providing flexible timings but work load got increased in this crisis situation. Company policies are extremely useful and supportable but they point it if you use it and consider low performance.

The growth is very slow and inspite of job security, the politics in the management is very predominant especially with some management resources who are working for ages.

It's a great to learn latest technologies and apply your knowledge. I don't think there is any worry for office politics for the people who work hard, your work is appreciate with due concern. Salary wise depends on your performance mostly but yes people skills is an add on. If you are creative, you'll be recognized and awarded. My work was normal, not much hectic. Being good at work involves more about your job. It was a great experience because I'm supposed to upgrade my knowledge to keep up with changing tools and technology. Overall, I'm happy about my job at Verizon.
