Working as a GET and regular employee in Uno Minda are very different. As a GET we have a great opportunity to learn industrial work without any pressure of work load and liability. Rules & regulations and system of uno minda are well difined and too good also. I learn and enjoy a lot a year as GET in Uno Minda.

System in Uno Minda are well defined but due to human error, it's not follow thoroughly.

1. I joined here as a GET from Mechanical Engineering Background but they assign me HR Deptt. with the work which non-tech guy can easyly do it and when you asked them to change the deptt. them HRs respond like that "Ok we will talk about it with this/that person and we try to resolve it" after that no response is been taken. 2. Work life balance is very poor. You have to go to plant in unorderd shifts. 3. The amount of things you learn and interpersonal skills that you can acquire are great, since everyone is loaded with more work than they can handle you get a deep level of understanding of the methodology behind your work. Future prospects look good based on other people's reviews.

Dislikes

There are many plants under UNO MINDA Group and all have different experiences, my plant was Rinder Division Chakan and the work culture was poor. Being in PPC dept. meant to take up late night calls of customers and to always be on toes regarding what's going on in the plant. People are also not that supportive except a few.
