Decent facilities for recreation, such as TT, Carrom, etc. for those working from the office. They have a decent cafeteria where you can buy eateries whenever you wish to.

Dislikes

1. Terrible Management: Appraisals are decided based on how much you can adulate the stakeholders, rather than your performance. You may be working 16 hours a day, delivering results, raising fat invoices, and receiving good client feedback, and will still see under-performers getting promoted above you. 2. Work-life balance: Managers want you to be available 24*7. They will overload you with multiple projects and will still expect you to meet all the overlapping deadlines. If everything goes fine, they will take away the credit, and in the case of good-ups, you will be made a scapegoat in front of senior management. 3. No room for growth: If you are looking forward to career growth, this would be the last place you would want to be in. No matter how hard you work and how amazing the quality of your work products is, you will be given random excuses at the time of appraisals every year. The company is open to innovation and adopts latest technology. Appraisal is on an average side. Not too much and not so less as well. Work-life balance depends on the project you are hired for. Very tough for document review employees and IT developers as well.

Job in not so secure here. Professional growth is not there. You will not get promotions easily.

A good place to start out for a fresher. UnitedLex certainly gives recognition to good employees, including the freshers and this is commendable. The office culture/atmosphere is also somewhat on the casual side making it easier for the new employees to ease into. All in all, experience here makes for a meaningful stepping stone.

Dislikes

The salary was not good as such. Despite the fact that you did the same work as the other permanent employees, employees on fixed term hire earned lesser. Also, owing to the monotonous nature of work, the growth remains stagnant. The scope for promotion and even getting a permanent position is also narrow</mark>. The contract employees get their contracts extended and so there is no job security as such until the opportunity, which is few, arises to apply for the permanent position. Hopefully, the situation has changed by now. Another downside was the stretches in work hours; although never made a direct compulsion, the pressure from the upper tier to opt for the stretches made it seem otherwise.
