Since inception of Optum, there has been a lot of constant cost cutting initiative from top brass. That's evident on the floors where people get mere perks and benefits, including your work. Any technology that is price driven is slowly made legacy and are either forced to migrate to their open source counterparts or are sunset, along with people involved. Frequent change in vision, Open Source adoption was hastened with little or no focus given to legacy platforms which actually drives revenue.

Pretty laid back. Most of the hype around latest buzzword like ML, AI, IOT with little or no work actually happening . Management is typical government type, warming their chair with their face value rather than management acumen
