Flight benefits, technically more beneficial for US employees. Not much options for India employees.
Dislikes
Leadership has no vision. The position they hired 6 months or an year back can become redundant over night. And they have no clue what to do with them and at last they can then ask their employees to quit over a short notice without taking much care about the employees career and financial liabilities.
Also company does not offer parental insurance by default and employees need to bear the additional premium costs from their salaries.
And there are multiple such practices the Indian entity of this company does. Which clearly suggests how they operate without much empathy with their employees.
Policies are not employee well being centric.
Advice to management: Even though the parent company is a well known Airline in US/Global aviation. Indian entity aka UA India knowledge Center operates just like a service base company. There is nothing wrong being a service base company but you should stop advertising yourself to potential candidates as Captive or Product based company if you have a service mindset....Read More
