job security similar to other company don't expect more from unisys. Management is not that much capable due to which high iteration you can see time to time. Company policies are good but implementation problem you can clearly see.

Unisys india past and present changed a lot in its nature. Teammate always good. Training you will get chance if it is required only if required for project . Job security in past was solid but now policy has changed a lot that leads now no job security. Career growth is very very slow. Salary/appraisal also not that much good. No continental travel chance you will get . Politics is more . For self learning you will get some chance ,work environment is good. Innovation is good. work-life balance is good....Read More

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent.Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year. Good to start a career.

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

Internal politics is very high. Less growth for fresher since there are lot of legacy technology been used. Appraisal are not up to market standards. Not recommended for fresher to stay too long here.

Company is full of politics and you really need to butter your manager in case you need any promotion. You are left at his mercy and no regards is given to the work you do. The worst thing about Unisys is the career growth and opportunities. A few service managers(Especially processes like UL, Andersen, CHI) are biased especially if you're from North India and working in Bangalore. They will promote and give raise to all those who flatter them instead of real work. They'll purposely find fault and rarely appreciate your good work. The shift is of 10 hours with minimal breaks which is exhausting. They will assign shifts as per their monopoly and randomly change it every now and then. The HR is non responsive and unsupportive. They turn blind eye to every genuine question raised<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. The annual increment isn't transparent and extremely unjustified</mark>. You'll have to beg for leaves even though you have sufficient leave balance. Overall one should only consider Unisys if there is no other option....Read More

Unisys as a company presents great work-life balance with nice people working around you. The company has a progressive mindset like most American MNCs and does attempt to instil an attitude that is driven to innovation. Travel is an option only in case you are experienced enough to take knowledge transfers. Career growth is there if you are fine getting a promotion every 3 years or so. Salary as a fresher is mostly above average but does not come close in comparison to the Tier 1 companies like Google, FB or the likes....Read More

First of all, the work in the company is not engaging enough - most of the work is on legacy technologies. It is largely centred around knowledge getting transitioned from the US. The raise is often not at par with the quality of work that one does. The company wants people to innovate but there is no support to reach the end goal.
