Work life balance is really good. Work culture is also good for Engineering department, I don't know about other departments.

Dislikes

This year 22-23, promotions and appraisals did not happen as expected as compare to the last year. I hope this is due to market situation and will get better in upcoming year.

Too much of Partiality. No growth if you work hard, if butter your manager then only you will have growth. Only hard work, being yourself will not help at all, you should always gossip about others, be in office politics, criticise someone will surely help you to grow in Unext. Product head does not have any technical knowledge and commonsense. he listens to the issues does nothing about it. He always says i am watching everyone but does not give proper hike in appraisal time. he only consider to give hike to his favourites. If you ask about less appraisal he will mention you are on my radar and will give you something next month. But no idea what is radar and something. As my understanding, if you are bold then there is hope to work here with this product head. If you are knowledgeable and eager to learn new things please do not join this company / team. The team will not give you chance to learn new thing because they only don't know anything. Associate Director of Product team Jagruti was pathetic and has no knowledge of tech, humanity, team bonding or anything. As she was newly moved to product team she started targeting girls who were working hard and torched them mentally instead of supporting the working women. I don't know if she hates women in her team or she only likes attention from boys. She targeted the old employees and made them to quit , but she moved her old teammates ( Marketing, Sales) by giving them senior Manager positions with no technical knowledge. These new people didn't have knowledge of basic excel but not sure how will they work in salesforce. There was guy in Product team (Sanjay), he thinks himself as CEO of the company and thinks others as very low. He has no knowledge of product and basic English. Yes, he don't know how to speak and write English being in ed tech company and don't have knowledge of any other tool such as excel, MS office, in spite of these negative qualities he was promoted as Product manager. I have no idea if he use English or Kannada while discussing with product head. He was bucket holder of product head. And even Product head was not ready to listen negative about him. Lastly, if you are women you should be bold and if you are boy you should have buttering quality to join this company. My life was pathetic when i was working in this team. Jagruti made my life hell when i put down the paper. the 2 months of notice period was tearful, stressful. Even the HR team will not help you. They will listen to you without doing anything. The HR told they will definitely consider my complaint and they will work to resolve them on my last working day. This was the biggest joke made on my last working day in that company....Read More

Very bad company all the managers only talk about targets . They also interfere in your personal life also.they only need admission so if u are in pip they also tortured you for fake admission by your side .Lead shuffle is also there they shuffle the leads from your account and give to them who are fvrt or ATL's . timing also not good .they will tell u 10 to 7:30 but managers timings are different they ordered you to report at 9 and will let u free after 9 pm . If u r not meeting your monthly targets so managers and vertical head will call you in cabin and abuse you and give pressure for admissions. If you have 2 leaves in month forget this line . You will never take this benifit. Your holiday is depend upon your managers . They will continue call u whole day whether in office or in home. Very bad review of this company. If you are not favourite of manager they will give you pip and fired you ..

There is nothing to like about this place. Apart from going on some vacational trips to Sikkim and Jaipur in name of demo.

The team is riddled with politics, those who fawn over the VP-Product and engineering advance up the ladder without contributing meaningfully, while the rest are left to follow ever changing vague instruction. Management is indifferent to the ongoing attrition within 3 months, the entire old team has left, and the management don't even bother to check why the attrition is super high which is quite alarming. If you see any old product employees stay you know what they would have done to be there. To survive in this team, be ok with manual support work, you need to be toxic, demeaning, flattering towards your boss, ok with screaming. And don't be surprised if HR does nothing about it, because they are the people who does maximum gossips, dude they even stalk you LinkedIn which is super hilarious. It's a place with no scope or growth, the product they are trying to build has not future, as UNext is a "la-la" enterprise where the profit seems to be elusive....Read More
