They are the Pay masters. Very aggressive approach. Founders are involved. Startup’s should learn from them. Really aggressive.

Dislikes

No strategy. Always on pilot mode. Highly top to bottom driven company. CEO needs good people to build the company and should be ‘humane’ in approach. Insulting people for your pleasure makes you a small human being.

I learnt a lot. I was a part of it when it was in a hyper-growth phase. The learning is immense. The people were amazing as well.

Layoff policy. Company don't care about employees. They just hire during the season of business and once business done they layoff entire staff for next 06 months.Also they try to keep employees on third party rolls so that during layoffs that should not be in their count. Poorest culture in unacademy among all Ed-tech companies.

Initially the management was good, all the co worker and my managers were from IIT & IIM or IISB. No drama, no securities, no cheap politics. Work pressure was high but very good environment. Though I was not from tier 1 college but having 10years of experience, team always gave equal opportunities and respect.

Dislikes

Not retaining the ppl who were asset and hired all the toxic candidates from other Edtech without doing any proper interview just by think they know sales . The entire culture of productivity and authenticity has screwed. And when the undeserving candidates gets place above there capabilities then only show off come on the table and make the others demotivated .

Fraud selling means are adapted to get target achieved. Ask teams to work 11-12 days straight without leaves . Pathetic company with pathetic people leading it .
