Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

The job is quite interesting!! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

I was working here as a consultant m just bcoz one stupid guy lucky who runs the show for US process..thinks that he owns the organisation. My daughter was unwell and all reports were shown to him and explained him the reason of my leaves. The only crime which I committed vus I took my wo'scafter that and another stupid person MohitGarg cald me and told me that I don't need to continue. I said I will come tomorrow. He said no u don't need to come. I explained everything to HR Manisha and even she realised everything but she felt helpless. I even sent an email to Shafaq but he did not respond. The gud human Nigel was not present bcoz of medical reasons. Stupid human beings lucky and max they ate my job. worst part is that such a big company is not even ready to credit my Incentives. Never join this organisation. I will try my level best to get my money from them....Read More
