No documented policy at my time.. if you have a discussion regarding your appraisal take that in writing because you might not get salary as per discussed appraisal.Also, you will get letter after a few months of appraisal cycle. Had a really bad experience with the senior manager and HR head, they stooped to the level that I couldn’t imagine. I still have two appraisal letters and the conversation of that entire episode that’s when I decided to move on.They put entire blame on another manager who wasn’t even the part of Appraisal Discussion. Cloud Engineer profile has no learnings whether L1 or L2 engineers and DevOps dictatorship over cloud engineers are making environment toxic a lot.Worst part is that the management here is least concern about this issue and don't even care.
