Before you take that final step, you need to know the reality behind the facade of this company. Tibro Tours is not the workplace it pretends to be. It’s a toxic environment where interns are exploited, disrespected, and discarded without a second thought. Targeting and Exploitation of Interns Interns here are treated as nothing more than cheap labor. From day one, you’ll be the target of endless taunts and disrespect from senior staff. Rather than providing the support and training you were promised, you’ll face constant ridicule for any perceived shortcomings. Miss Chaitali, a key member of the MICE team, is notorious for her sharp, condescending remarks. Imagine being told you'll receive proper Excel and Word training during your internship, only to be publicly humiliated when you don’t instantly master every function. The company sets you up for failure and then mocks you for it. Blame Games and Humiliation Prepare yourself for a workplace where absurdity reigns. In one of the most ridiculous incidents, I was accused by my own team of not flushing the toilet after use. Yes, you read that right. In a washroom shared by over 20 employees, with people coming in and out every few minutes, I was singled out and blamed. This wasn’t a one-off joke—it was a genuine accusation meant to humiliate and target me. If this is the level of professionalism you expect in a workplace, then Tibro Tours is for you. Unreasonable Work Hours and Lack of Compensation The company promises you a 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. work schedule, but don’t be fooled. You will rarely leave before 7:30 or 8 p.m., and on some days, you may find yourself staying until 10 p.m. And despite all the extra hours you put in, there is no compensation, no acknowledgment, and certainly no “comp-off” for the weekends you’ll inevitably be called in for<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. Worst of all, take even one emergency leave, and your salary will be docked without hesitation, regardless of how much extra time you’ve already put in</mark>. Toxic and Ineffective Management The management team at Tibro Tours is unapproachable and dismissive. During my time there, I frequently found myself with no tasks assigned, only to be reprimanded by the head of the MICE department, Mr. Dhaval, for “idling.” When I raised the issue of not being assigned work, I was completely ignored, and two days later, I received an email terminating my internship. Manipulation and Sudden Terminations The company has a pattern of hiring interns with promises of long-term employment, only to terminate them as soon as the busy season ends. I was given false promises of training, professional development, and a potential full-time role, but once they had gotten all the work they needed from me, I was abruptly dismissed. This is not an isolated incident but rather a clear strategy to exploit interns during peak periods and dispose of them once their value diminishes. Final Warning to Future Employees To anyone who has recently accepted an offer or is about to join Tibro Tours: reconsider your decision. This is not a company that values its employees, especially not its interns. You will be overworked, underappreciated, and ultimately discarded when they no longer need you.
