Our leave policy aligns with the provisions outlined in 'The Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishment Act, 1958,' granting our partners 29 leaves in addition to 8 public holidays. Embracing a 5-day work week model, we prioritize affording our partners ample time for relaxation, fostering a healthy work-life balance. Continuously benchmarking against competitors and various service-based industries, we affirm the robustness of our leave policy, consistently rated as highly beneficial. Moreover, we extend several leave-related perks, including accumulation up to 30 days, encashment of earned leaves, swift approval processes for applied leaves, and the conversion of casual and sick leaves to earned leaves, incentivizing responsible leave management. In the current challenging economic climate, marked by recession and conflicts, many companies are unfortunately resorting to mass layoffs. However, we are steadfast in our commitment to sustainability. This commitment was evident during the pandemic when we swiftly transitioned to a work-from-home model, managing to navigate the challenges with zero layoffs. Also, it's worth noting that, unlike some of our counterparts, we continue to conduct appraisals to recognize and reward the hard work and dedication of our team members. In addition to weathering the economic challenges, we pride ourselves on going the extra mile to maintain sleek profit margins. This strategic approach not only aligns with the prevailing market conditions but also enables us to meet the expectations of our valued employees. Our dedication extends to investing in various initiatives such as Certification Reimbursements, Long-term Service Awards, Tech Talks, and more, contributing to the engagement, growth, and development of our workforce. Through these efforts, we aim to foster an environment that not only retains talent but also promotes a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Furthermore, our commitment extends to providing the best possible experience for our partners. We would like to inform you that due to the pandemic we have shifted to remote working permanently. However, like you said, it is of paramount importance for freshers to experience the office culture and to interact with their seniors and colleagues. Hence, this year we invited our campus hires/freshers to the office for a 2-day long onboarding and induction ceremony. In cases of underperformance, our approach prioritizes coaching and implementing Performance Improvement Plans to facilitate growth. Regrettably, despite our efforts and multiple interventions, when a partner’s performance does not exhibit improvement, we have to make hard decisions. We provide multiple avenues for our partners to explore different domains and excel in their preferred roles, even after receiving less-than-optimal feedback from previous projects. We only consider parting ways with partners as a last resort, after exhausting all avenues for improvement and recognizing a lack of commitment to growth and ownership.

As we spent considerable time and effort in hiring and training the freshers and experienced partners during the last year, we feel it is only fitting that they showcase what they have learned during the last one-and-a-half years, through assessments and evaluation interviews. Even upon failing to clear said assessments, we allow our partners ample time to prepare for a 2nd round of evaluation, or by contributing to their area of work by putting them in Performance Improvement Plans. All in all, we provide ample opportunities to our partners to shine and prove their mettle, and only ask them to look out for other opportunities which will be best suited to them in the current situation, as a last resort (Even then, we keep in touch with them and help them land other opportunities).
