Once you are confirmed,then there is no risk in removing you from the organisation,the culture of the organisation is the same but the school leaders are very different from one another,they set their own culture in the school and that's how challenges occurs.Policies like CPP (child protection policy) is taken care of, teachers aren't allowed to hit or scold the students infront of anyone.

Dislikes

I don't like the norms which the leaders have created for their own school,it differs from school to school and that's how miscommunication starts.Its a nature of human life that they keep comparing their school with another Akanksha school.So be uniform in everything.

I am no longer with them,it's been one month that I left the organisation.But overall my experience was superb,I got to learn a lot from them,the staff was very helpful and friendly.I worked here for almost 16 years.I miss my school but life has to go on.

The work culture is amazing. There is constant support & growth opportunities within the organisation. You get a 5% increment every year.

Dislikes

It is difficult to manage the BMC. Very little support is given from the organization. Sometimes you get caught between the demands from the organization & from the BMC. Infrastructure is a major struggle because the BMC teachers don’t provide classrooms & there’s a constant fight for classrooms. These situations make you feel demotivated.

It’s an amazing place to work. You get to wear multiple hats & that helps you grow as an individual. You learn most of the things on the job. Akanksha Foundation has schools in Mumbai , Pune & Nagpur. There are different roles in the school.
