Working with Teradata was my dream and I lived it till my last day. It was really nice working for Teradata, the true leader in the world of analytics. The team I was part of is just awesome. The environment and the culture are great and true to the rankings given to Teradata. The time spent at Teradata helped me to be more generous and mature as an employee.

Dislikes

The rankings given to Teradata for its culture and all fails when it comes to management from India. The way I was treated and rewarded and lied by my manager resulted in me leaving my Dream company. Even till my last day I was not updated and confirmed on my appraisals.

Nothing. Worst manager I got. All the managers are the same. Anyways teradata would be out of market in few years. Vantage cloud lake won’t take up the market. Client projects are contributing to revenue. If they do not expand the GDC, teradata will be finished.

Worst part is certification, two certifications are mandatory per year that too on teradata products only.

Now i have 6 months completed in Teradata overall experience is fine but if you are in support project compulsively you need to do night shift and if you are in development section you have to search for new project in every 7 to 8 months. One more thing i wanted to tell there is mandatory Teradata certification you have to complete within 6 to 7 months.
