They have one automation framework and forcefully ask all to adopt it, by this what happens is the one who work on that framework will only get knowledge, others don't have the option to try new things. Also it makes 90 % of people to move with flow and restrict them to think new. This is old mind set, now things are chaged , Open framework is neadeded and automation framework should be based on the application that is being tested, it should not be like, one single framework and all adopt what that team says. They are product company but still not moved out from service based mentality. Most of the top leaders working comes from service based company so they have that working metality. You will have to serve your boss good to get promotion, even you don't work if u are your boss pet then u can move up. Individual monopoly is too much, some fools are in the chair for long and each and every things need their yes to go , even you are right and your ideas gives more ROI these people will not let you do it. Note Please top level leaders , I know it is one of the best company but please try to interact with people who work at ground level, dont just hear inputs from just people below you...
