The salary hikes for existing performers are way to less than new recruitees with lesser skills. Tcs simply stopped valuing existing workforce.

Honestly speaking, I don't have any differentiating factor in TCS to call it out. But yeah, initial years in TCS, I was lucky enough to work with really good managers who were quite knowledgeable & encouraging.

Dislikes

A. Politics is there everywhere for sure. Where ever people are there, for personal benefits, people tend to play politics. But here, managers remain in the organization for so very long period that they build good relationship with top management folks and steal work / put your down and stop exposing you. B. Remuneration can be better. Can't call it as a concern because it is on par with the industry standards....Read More

Work Details

Slog long hours at work - 12-14 hours. Need to say, TCS is a credible company and hence gets good projectsto deliver. Employees get a fairly good learning if they stick-on to the company for 3+ years. However remuneration & rewarding should be considered.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.
